PROCOMP ELECTRONICS LIMITED GLOBAL WARRANTY
All Procomp Electronics Products Limited Warranties are extended to the original consumer only. This Limited Warranty is not assignable or otherwise transferable. There are no warranties that extend beyond those stated herein. Procomp Electronics Products offers no other warranties expressed or implied beyond this Limited Warranty.
In the event of an alleged defect in material or workmanship, Procomp Electronics Products' responsibility is strictly limited to repair or replace the defective product. Procomp has no other obligation expressed or implied.
Final warranty determination will be in the sole discretion of Procomp Electronics. Procomp shall not be responsible for; (a) actual or alleged labor, transportation, or other incidental charges; or (b) actual or alleged consequential or other damages incurred by use of any product of Procomp Electronics.
To initiate the warranty process, the consumer must return the alleged defective product to the place of purchase with a dated receipt and completed applicable warranty claim tag. Warranty claims will be rejected if the date of purchase cannot be established by the consumer. Do not send products directly to Procomp Electronics. Procomp Electronics assumes no responsibility for products sent directly to Procomp Electronic.
Procomp Electronics Limited Global Warranty specifically does not apply to products, which have been (a) modified or altered in any way; (b) subjected to adverse conditions, such as misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or adjustment, dirt or other contaminants, water, corrosion, or faulty repair; or (c) used in other than those applications recommended by Procomp Electronics Products. Procomp Electronics Products also does not warrant, and disclaims all liability for products used in racing activities and/or applications other than those specifically recommended in the current volume catalog.

Sydney Speed Supplies (SSS) offer a Limited warranty with custom or performance engines.
Limited Warranty - For authorized engine warranty, engine must be returned to SSS with freight prepaid.
What SSS warrant: Warranty parts include pistons, rods and bearings; however does not include any other parts other than what is supplied in long block assembly. Seals and gaskets are replaced only as part of a repair.
Areas in which are not covered by SSS warranty:
1. Bolt on accessories such as carburetors, fuel injection, distributor, ignition, water pump, fuel pump, alternator, power steering, air conditioning compressor, starter, accessories drive systems, turbocharger, fuel lines and water lines.
2. Engines subject to neglect, abnormal abuse, lack of maintenance, collisions, abnormal operation, improper installation.
3. Operation of the engine with fuels, oils or lubricants that is contaminated, or not suitable for the engines such as some synthetics.
4. The use of accessories or other bolt on performance parts are not manufactured approved by or installed by SSS.
5. Modifications to engine not approved by SSS.
6. Use of nitrous oxide.
7. Engines used for competition track or any racing purposes.
8. Engine failures caused by overheating, cracked blocks/ cylinder bores, cracked cylinder heads, lean fuel conditions, excessive boost or excessive power other than what its rated to, poor quality fuel, improper ignition timing (i.e. detonation).
9. SSS does not cover parts, gaskets, etc. damaged by detonation.
10. SSS does not assume responsibility for towing charges; layup time, lodging, telephone charges, car or truck rental, or any other charges created by an engine failure.
11. SSS does not warrant damages to customer’s vehicle that is engine related. The buyer assumes full responsibility for entire cost of repairs to service damage, and/or loss of property.
12. All warranty work must be performed by SSS. Any warranty work not performed by SSS must be performed by a certified mechanic with prior written authorization by SSS.
13. Service or diagnostic work performed by other individuals or companies.
14. Installation or removal of engines or related parts or any resultant labor charges.
15. Warranty covers only the product itself and not the cost of installation or removal.
16. Disassembled long/short engines.
17. Due to the nature of high performance engines we have no control on variables such as Seals and gaskets. However, SSS do offer replacement oil seals, without labor warranty.
In regards to, on-warrantable or non-legitimate claims, customer is responsible for shipping expenses and any resultant parts and/or labor charges performed by SSS.
SSS does not warrant short blocks.
Due to nature and type of use of custom or performance engines; SSS retains the right to determine in its sole discretion whether or not any SSS product is covered by warranty.
